Play area infestation update

The parish council has met this afternoon (Wednesday 2 September) with a specialist contractor – the only one who could do the job inside a month – and agreed for the infestation to be removed in the next day or so.

The treatment will need to be left a day and then the adjacent equipment will need to be hosed down to remove any contamination.

All being well, the play area will be safe to be reopened by Sunday afternoon.

Going forward, the council will keep an eye out for a return of any infestation.

In the meantime, please do not ignore the closure signage.
