Full Parish Council Meeting Documents
All meetings to start at 7:30pm except where stated otherwise, and will be held in Kingston Blount Village Hall, except during the summer months when meetings will be held in Aston Rowant church. PLEASE CHECK EACH AGENDA FOR MEETING LOCATION
Members of the public are welcome to attend and a short period of “Open Forum” is put aside at the beginning for anyone who wishes to address the Council, for a maximum of 5 minutes.
No decision can be made at the meeting, but if the matter is important enough, it will form part of the next meeting agenda for full consideration and resolution.
Members of the public cannot participate in the meeting after the Open Forum – it is a Parish Council Meeting to enact council business. The public may attend, but it is not a Public Meeting.
Minutes have to be agreed at the meeting following which they were recorded so they will be posted here one month in arrears.

Annual Report
In May of each year the Parish Council holds an Annual Parish Meeting and an Annual Meeting of the Parish Council.
At the Annual Parish Meeting the Chairman produces a Report on the progress of the previous year and plans for the forthcoming year. This is not a formal Parish Council Meeting and refreshments are usually served.
At the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Responsible Financial Officer all stand down and are re-elected by the other members of the council. Every four years there is an election of the whole council.
It is quite normal for the Clerk to also act as the Responsible Financial Officer.
