Cantilena Winds are performing a Christmas concert with a programme of Christmas favourites at the village hall, Kingston Blount. The sound of Christmas... 11am until 1pm on Friday 13th December. ADMISSION FREE! Refreshments will be available to purchase  

Aston Rowant Cricket Club is holding a Cheese and Wine event in the clubhouse on Sunday 15th December from 1100hrs. During the event, the annual 200 Club draw for prizes of £100, £50, £50 and £25 will be held. All are welcome.

Chinnor Village Centre is bringing its Christmas Float to the parish, calling house to house. If any parents in Aston Rowant want their children to definitely meet him it’s recommended that the children are driven round to Icknield Close in Kingston Blount at about 18.05 where Father Christmas will greet them personally.

Features the three wise men - or was there a fourth?

This year's circular walk will be from the Leathern Bottle, Lewknor at 10.00 on Sunday 5 January. It is 6 miles and will follow the route of the Aston Rowant Discovery Trail. One hill, no stiles, but please wear boots. Some of us will have lunch at the Leathern Bottle at about 13.00 after the walk.
