A new park for the parish

The Kingston Blount Park Fundraising Committee are really pleased to share the refurbishment designs for the Kingston Blount playground.

We will be keeping equipment in good working order, replacing damaged equipment and we have made some exciting additions too…. yes, there is a ZIP WIRE!!

Importantly, the replacement of the fence will also be happening as a priority this summer.

The total renovation costs are £50,000. We have conducted fundraising events within the community, been successful in a number of grant applications, and received funding from the Hillwerke Recreation Trust and Aston Rowant Parish Council – all totalling £17,000.

Our remaining fundraising target is therefore £33,000. Whilst we have further grant applications in the pipeline and additional fundraising events to come, we need your help to make these plans become a reality!
