A note from ARCC:

In front of a bumper and enthusiastic crowd last Sunday, Aston Rowant 2^nd team progressed to the next round of the Village Knock Out Competition by beating a strong Horspath team by 42 runs. This earns them another home tie on Sunday May 22^nd against Langford. It will be another good day as the long term weather forecast is favourable.

Last Saturday in the first weekend of league fixtures there were wins for the 1^st team (off the last ball in an exciting finish) against Banbury and the 3^rd team against Bledlow Village 2^nd team. But both the 2^nd and 4^th  teams were well beaten.

On Friday the increasingly popular junior training takes place, the bar will be open from 6pm for those who wish to either watch or socialise whilst the BBQ warms up.

On Saturday, the 2^nd and 3^rd teams will be at home against Didcot and Tetsworth respectively , the 1^st and 4^th teams are away. The bar will open at 3pm, which will be the case for all 2^nd team games on Saturdays.
