Flood warnings
A message from SODC:
“We’ve had a number of flood warnings issued in South and Vale, which means flooding is likely – you can see this information on this live map. The river levels are still rising, and with the heavy rain we’re currently seeing in many areas of our districts, it’s likely we’ll see further warnings.

All residents should also follow this advice:
- Avoid driving through flood water and avoid towpaths.
- Flood water is not clean and not suitable for children to play in. There might be hidden hazards under the water such as manhole covers that have lifted. Anyone who has been in flood water should wash their hands at the soonest opportunity.”
