Parish litter pick – 28 and 29 March

Your parish needs you:

The parish council does its best to keep the locality looking clean and tidy. To do this it runs two litter pick weekends. One on 28 and 29 March coming and another late autumn, date to be announced.

Organiser Peter Hetherington would greatly appreciate help from as many people as possible – over 16’s please (for health and safety reasons). As they say, many hands make light work.

Saturday 28 March will cover the A40 and those meeting at the Cherry Tree at 0930 will catch the bus to the top of the hill. The section should be done by noon.

Sunday 29 March covers the A40 and B4009 near the Lambert Arms. Meet by the hotel at 1000 and again, the job should be done by noon.

Hi-vis vests, litter picking sticks, bags and gloves will be provided (but extra gloves would be appreciated).
